Cryptosporidium

STL perform Cryptosporidium and Giardia testing in a purpose built laboratory based in Coventry, one of the largest facilities in Europe.

Licensed by DWI, STL’s testing is performed to the standard of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 including sampling, transport, analysis and reporting. An image capture service is provided for all positive samples.

Testing can be carried out to regulatory and non-regulatory standards as required. To ensure customers receive legally defensible results, STL participate in a monthly External Quality Assurance scheme demonstrating excellent recovery levels from their expert analysts and excellent microscopy results.

STL can perform Cryptosporidium testing on samples taken from potable water, rivers, swimming pools, water treatment works and gravel or sand sites.
