Each year rigorous targets are set across our sites and divisions, which require continuous performance improvement in our Health and Safety practices. Health and Safety is on the agenda at all STL’s meetings ensuring it stays at the forefront of all of our minds.

 

STL are just as committed to the continual improvement of our environmental impact as we are to Health and Safety.

 

With a policy to continually assess the impact of our operations we seek to use processes, practices and materials that avoid, reduce or control pollution.

 

Stringent recycling and reuse guidelines ensure, wherever possible, we minimise our waste and reduce the use of natural resources. Our commitment to environmental management is demonstrated by compliance with ISO 14001:2004, the international standard for environmental management, at most of our sites.
